    According to a report released by Morgan Stanley, the automotive HPC semiconductor market will surge threefold in the next five years. 

    The overall potential market for wafer foundries in automotive HPC is estimated to be US$2 billion this year, and will grow to US$6 billion by 2027, with a CAGR of 29%. 

    At the same time, due to the growing demand for custom design of automotive HPC chips, the cumulative revenue of design service factories will increase by as much as US$2 billion in the next 5 years. 

    In addition, in 2022, only 7% (less than 6 million vehicles) of autonomous driving capabilities will reach Level 3 or higher; Morgan Stanley estimates that this proportion will increase to more than 20% (about 20 million vehicles) by 2027 .
